Create a Masterpiece!

Our class was given they assignment of creating a "masterpiece". We could use any medium, any color, any texture, etc. We were just told to create a master piece. After we were done we then had to explain our masterpiece. It was great to see everyone's different ideas, thoughts, and feelings about what a masterpiece is and what it means to them. Some people chose for their masterpiece to have meaning, some just created their masterpiece based on their interpretation of beauty. There were so many different ideas and creations. This can be a great activity in a number of ways from getting to know your students to finding out how students interpret instructions and ideas differently.
